About us

The MIDA (Methods for Image Data Analysis) group advances the field of image analysis through the development of robust, generalizable, and interpretable computational methods. Our research spans a wide spectrum of image types and application domains, with a strong emphasis on creating tools that are both scientifically rigorous and practically useful.

We are currently focused on developing AI-driven methods for biomedical image analysis, with particular attention to interpretability and clinical relevance. Our goal is to contribute to the advancement of digital pathology and to support precision medicine by enabling accurate, transparent, and actionable insights from complex imaging data.
